On July 22, 2018, we escaped from the city for an afternoon and evening of art & words in the woods.

In front of the historic barn of Art at the Birches, the sunset soirée is an annual meeting ground for creatives, thought-provokers, and those who just love a good escape from the concrete borders of New York City.

While the main event centers around the performance of words — our Rhinebeck Residents spoke to (or read from) the work they created during the residency, all of which took aim at “Power And,” our topic for Issue 8 — the soiree doubles as the annual celebration of our organization, and so you can expect good food, great drink, thoughtful beings, a not-so-silent auction, and live music.
